- Quality Management Consultant
This Quality Management Consultant position is responsible for all regulatory matters in Intermountain Healthcare’s Southwest Region based in St. George, Utah. It has accountability to ensure preparation for Joint Commission and all other surveys and regulatory matters in the three hospital region, and participates with all surveyors or inspectors when on site. This role also facilitates training on standards, coordinates policy updates and training, supervises a small staff and other duties.

- ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE QUALITY

- DIRECTOR OF QUALITY AND RISK
This director is responsible for providing vision and leadership throughout
the organization and for continuous improvement of clinical ands service
quality outcomes. Designs, implements and maintains systems ensuring
integration of quality support across the organization, improvement of
health outcomes, integrates and promotes patient safety and optimizes risk
prevention. Responsible for quality management, risk management, infection
control, medical staff and utilization review.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in nursing or health-related field required.
Consideration will be made for 10+ years of progressive management
experience in place of education requirement.
License/Certification: Current Washington State Registered Nurse license or
eligible.
Experience: Minimum of five years acute care leadership demonstrating
success with an integrated model of quality, risk and utilization.
Understanding of process improvement and statistical methodologies. Basic
computer experience, including word processing and data-base management, and
experience with performance improvement and operational excellence tools
required. Direct patient care experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Knowledge/Demonstrated ability to influence high level organizational change
and culture and build and Skills: lead teams, including partnership with
medical staff. Displays strong interpersonal and intuitive skills,
enthusiasm, creativity and strong independent problem solving skills. Adept
in regulatory requirements.

- DIRECTOR OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Our client, a hospital in Arizona, seeks a Director to manage the Quality activities at this medical center. The hospital is located in one of the fastest growing areas in Phoenix.
The job scope encompasses being responsible for management of services delivered by the QM Department. Primary responsibilities will be to implement best practices, manage staff, assess the operation of department, interpret and communicate data, and be responsible for accreditation surveys.
Ideal candidate with have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (master's preferred) and three or years progressive experience as manager or director of quality in an acute care facility. Experience should include demonstration of strong leaderships skills, management of personnel and budget and a thorough knowledge of the performance improvement, root cause analysis, and regulatory requirements, and ability to communicate effectively to various customer groups.
